California Woman Founder of the Year - August 2026

On Monday, 10 August, F5 Collective and the California Women’s Wealth Advisory Council honoured 11 amazing female founders based in and making an impact on the Golden State with the 2026 California Woman Founder of the Year event in Sacramento, California. Beginning with a reception at the city’s iconic California Museum, which included speeches by F5 Collective Founding Partner Kelly Kimball, California State Senate President Pro Tempore Monique Limón, and First Partner Jennifer Seibel Newsom, the 11 honourees were then presented with resolutions by Pro Tem Limón on the floor of the California State Senate followed by introductions in the California State Assembly by Assemblymember Jacqui Irwin. Created to shine a light on California's incredible women who have chosen the state as their base to launch, grow, and establish these extraordinary and meaningful businesses, the 2026 California Woman Founder of the Year event celebrates female-led, California-based companies by recognizing their contribution to the state's economy, the strides they are making as a California company in their chosen industry, and their positive impact upon the communities they support.
